I want to be a tutor because academia has always been incredibly important for enriching one's life, not to mention its increasing importance in helping one find a well paying, life-fulfilling job. I want to help others to reach their full academic potential, so that they may reach their fullest life potential. At UTA I have received the McDowell Center Scholarship for academic excellence, as well as several awards for excellence in upper level Russian courses. I have been on the Dean's List for three semesters, now. I received a 1690 on the SAT, a 3 on the World History AP Exam, and 4 on the US History AP Exam.
